- Conducting recruitment efforts for all employees; conducting
new-employee orientations; create and place advertising.
- Daily interaction with field employees to insure open line of
communication is maintained and to assist Operations Team in
addressing issues, needs, and/or concerns as they arise
- Administering leave of absence programs (FMLA, medical,
personal, and military) to ensure compliance with company policy
and state/federal regulations
- Working with third party company to ensure compliance with
worker’s compensation regulations
- Performing benefits administration to include claims resolution,
change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and
communicating benefit information to employees
- Administering Human Resource plans and procedures in compliance
with Corporate direction; assisting in development and
implementation of local HR policies and procedures and
maintaining the employee handbook and policies and procedures
manual
- Conducting exit interviews and documentation for terminating

Desired Qualifications
- A BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Management or
related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and
experience
- Two (2) years of applicable experience, preferably in a
warehouse environment.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience applying knowledge of local,
state, and federal labor/employment laws and regulations
regarding employment decisions such as hiring, discipline,
termination, workers compensation, leave administration,
benefits and compensation.
- Ability to work independently.
Previous payroll experience preferably using Kronos timekeeping
and ADP.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple
functions.
